Since 2013, I have taught each semester at Baruch College in the Political Science Department.
Below are a few syllabi that I have developed:
- Refugees in Global Politics
- Democracy & Post-Conflict Politics in Bosnia & Herzegovina
- Introduction to Comparative Politics
- Introduction to American Government
Project on Peacebuilding (Prijedor, Bosnia)
Additionally, I have led a summer course (2013, 2014, 2015, 2017) on local peacebuilding and post-conflict politics in Bosnia that examines the history, political context, and processes of change since the Dayton Peace Accords in 1995. Students participate in workshops with local activists, go on site visits to local memorials, and visit former detention camps and mass graves. The project is anchored in experiential learning aimed at immersing students in the community and history of the region. For more information, you can read the students’ reflection blogs: https://projectonpeacebuilding.wordpress.com.
